The Dicotomy
The rapid growth in the field of AI is telling us that the future is going to be comfortable and relaxed. We won't be doing chorus, we won't be arguing with taxi driver & shopkeeper & the number of irritating elements will be reduced.
But, look around and observe. Number of people are increasing, while convenient jobs are reducing. And, we're at the edge of tomorrow. Kids of the next generation will be learning HTTP instead of ABCD at the age of first words. The future is not yet reached, and still, there's no turning back or pushing it farther.
Why am I saying so?
I know many of you will take a coincidence with when I would say that we're gardeners standing in a battlefield. We know how to use a shovel, but we can't lift a sword. What is meant here, is that, some are good with science and technology, but there's no direct insolvent in the making of a more tech friendly world.
So... What?
Don't worry, even with edge cutting tools & cyborgs, humans will be humans with their basic needs & desires which can not be fulfilled artificially and neither the creativity & decision making humans possess.
What do we have?
Let's start with basic knowing. We won't be having borders, but Nations will be intact, along with the civil services, and civil servants will still be in need. Looking at other careers, being an entertainer will always be in demand. Be it legendary Tansen in King Akbar's rule, or young guy Justin Bieber in this democratic world, artists are ever loved & appreciated. Similarly, performers, chefs, comedians, will always be in demand. Note down that to be futuristic, you don't need to be a tech person. We can very well co-ordinate with future world even if we got two left feet in tech!
What does future have for us? -Less farmers, more farms. -Less drivers, better commute. -Less tutors, more learning. -Work less, play more.
What do we have for the future? -More entertainment -More creativity -More fashion -More food -More leisure
So be ready to do what you already love to do! That is, being -Full time chef, -A traveller who earns by traveling. -Pop star with worldwide fans, -Permanent Fashionista -Oscar winning performer -Adding on the unlimited things what YOU already love to do!
The summed up motive for all of us is to enjoy what we already love to do while doing it for everyone! We would love to know your views, ideas, suggestions, & pop up a good discussion.
